Our cause, is to play a part in encouraging people to move more and to grow a community of Goodbye Couchers! who will encourage others to move more!

There is overwhelming evidence that sedentary lifestyles and unhealthy, unbalanced diets are causing adults to die prematurely (or be disabled prematurely) as they succumb to heart disease, cancer, strokes etc.

Children in many other parts of the world are becoming more obese indicating shorter life spans with deteriorating health. Also diabetes 2 in children is increasing. I wonder how many of them follow the lifestyle of their parents? They sit and the children sit. Imagine the positive change in the health of our children (and our nations) if parents alone became more active in their life and a better diet was introduced into the home - if they could just say Goodbye Couch!!

To us it is not just about selling a fitness program (as good as it is!) , it's about giving people an opportunity to ask questions and chat at our forums, to keep their motivation levels up!. We do our best to respond to all emails and forum posts. There are some pretty good books out there on fitness but not many offer the facility for reader feedback.

To promote our cause we have earmarked 25c from each fitness pack for grassroot organisations we identify are working within their community (in any age group) to motivate that group of people to say Goodbye Couch! and move more. If you know of a community group that might fit into this category anywhere in the world  please use our contact form here and let us know!
